This website was started by family and friends that love Diana. Diana Bryer Galloway is a wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Many of you already know that Diana has been ill for over a year and a half now. For those of you who don't know about the situation, she is suffering with Late-Stage Lyme disease complicated by metal poisoning. She was initially diagnosed with mercury poisoning. However, as she pursued treatments to remove the mercury from her system, she began to develop severe neurological symptoms. This caused Don and Diana to seek many neurologists and many other specialists who were unable to determine the cause of her symptoms. It was only after Diana contacted 2 doctors in New York City who specialize in environmental medicine it was suggested that she may have Lyme Disease. After visiting a Lyme Literate Doctor it was confirmed that Diana did in fact have Lyme Disease and all of its co-infections.
We have found a specialist out in Seattle who comes highly recommended due to his expertise in treating both problems and knows the relationship between the two. Therefore, her husband is planning to drive her out to Seattle to begin treatments as soon as her appointment becomes available. Her parents will accompany her as she will need to relocate there for the duration of her treatments and will need their assistance as the doctor monitors the treatment process. Diana is sensitive to cell phones, wi-fi's and just about anything electronic which prevents her from going near an airport or flying on a plane. In the presence of these waves Diana gets severe pain, headaches, dizziness and tremors and convulsions that lead to her having seizures.
Don and Diana have spent tens of thousands of dollars on medications, treatments, and doctor bills just to get where they are today. Diana recently went to a doctor in South Florida who was supposed to be the "Doctor House" and came highly recommended with many accolades. After spending $5,000.00 out of pocket and 29 blood tests later, he revealed that her body is in a state of severe inflammation. All of her organs are affected by the disease. Although he is well versed in Lyme Disease, he does not treat the heavy metal poisioning. He's not exactly sure how to handle the complexity of her case. Furthermore, the Lyme Specialists do not take medical insurance and Diana's insurance provider has denied 99 percent of the claims she has submitted on her own. The treatments and relocation expenses to the doctor who is in Seattle and is able to treat her is initially estimated to cost about $10,000.00 per month. All of this has taken a toll on the family financially. They have spent their savings and are racking up credit card debt.
Please pray for Diana that she will get the treatment she desperately needs and that God will bring a healing to her body.
Pray for the kids that God will watch over them as he has the past year and a half and that they will have their mother back soon.
